Welcome to Bampa’s House, the Corning-Painted Post area’s only non-profit 501(c)(3) comfort care home. Bampa’s House is a two bedroom home where the terminally ill can spend the final days of their lives receiving compassionate care in a peaceful, home-like environment.

PERSONAL CARE
Individualized comfort care/hospice care coordinated by CareFirst, including pain control and symptom relief
24-HOUR STAFFING
Throughout the day, staffing is there to coordinate care and communicate with the resident’s family
PREPARED FOOD
Meals and snacks and provided
NO SET VISITING HOURS
Family and friends are encouraged to visit at any time or stay overnight!
PRIVACY
Private bedroom for each resident
COMFORTABLE SPACES
Spacious family room and kitchen with telephone, TV, internet.

THE PLANNING AND FUNDING PHASE

Comfort care homes take time to be established. Currently, Bampa’s House is in the planning and funding phase. The hope is to meet or exceed the timelines of other comfort care homes in the surrounding area and for Bampa’s House to open its doors to residents in three years or less.
