Our Home
Located in the beautiful Finger Lakes region in the town that made glass famous, this circa 1880 Queen Anne Eastlake style home is filled with incredible architectural features that we preserved as much as possible: carved woodwork, ornate ceilings, curved walls, and chandeliers to name a few.
We purchased the home in October 2018 and immediately began renovations to update and retrofit the home for the needs of a comfort care home. The majority of the renovations completed in early 2020, at which time preparations began to hire staff and train volunteers in order to open the home.
A second phase was completed in 2022-2023 with the reconstruction of our carriage house and the addition of a serenity garden and additional landscaping.
Video Walkthrough of Renovations
The scope of work for our first phase of renovating the home was quite extensive. Our goal was to keep the original charm and historic nature of the home while also modernizing it to fit the needs of a comfort care home.
